Mr. Costello
Science Teacher
Home Room: 216

I was born in Houston Texas where some of my extended family still lives. However, I moved to Farmington Hills Michigan when I was six years old and I have been here ever since. I quickly took up hockey and a variety of other sports. As a high school student I loved learning, but was also involved in many extracurricular groups like NHS, Lacrosse and Hockey. I attended Michigan State University with the intentions of going into a science related career, but had experiences with education and immediately knew I wanted to become a teacher. And what better subject to teach than science. I graduated from MSU, after helping teach some introductory biology lab courses, and had a great first year of teaching at Novi High School. Since then I have been teaching at Hartland and I could not be any happier.

I am a curious individual who is always trying to push myself to grow. I enjoy reading just about anything, but I mostly focus on reading educational texts, research in science and every now and then a pleasure reading like a fictional novel. I still play hockey from time to time and love to get outside to be active (Running, biking etc.).
