The following are various resources I know of that may help you understand our content if you are struggling. There is a description for each link to help to make decisions about what might be useful to you.
This website offers mini lectures on different topics covered in this class. The teacher writes on a black background as he explains concepts and how to solve problems, like in genetics or gas laws. Be careful with this because he may teach different methods or explain concepts using different terminology which may confuse some of you. Still, this is a very useful tool if you need an explanation about a specific topic again or a review on how to solve a problem.
These are a set of youtube lectures that offer a quick 10-15 minute overview on different topics we learn in class. Just click on the biology section and choose the specific topic you would like to listen to. Similar to Khan Academy, but with a different feel.
This website offers a variety of biology and chemistry simulations that give a good visual of a few different topics covered in class. You run the application in JAVA and then manipulate various simulations and observe what happens. Sadly, there are not many good biology ones, but the ones they do have are quite beneficial. Feel free to browse through them.
