Eats, Shoots and Leaves Reading and English Grammar Practice Schedule for A.P. Composition's 2010 - 2011 School Year

Friday, September 10th, 2010: Completion of English Grammar PreTest.

Friday, September 24th, 2010 : (1) Completion and Discussions of "Dear John" Grammar Practice Activity.

(2) Distribution of English Grammar PreTest. All correct test answers given by teacher. Optional Test Corrections assigned (written explanation of why student's chosen wrong answer is incorrect and why correct answer is appropriate) - due Fri., Oct. 15th

(3) Introduction to English Grammar-related class novel (Lynn Truss's Eats, Shoots and Leaves) - began reading

(4) Assignment of first set of English grammar practice - all 2nd, 5th, and 6th hour students required to have first set of English grammar reading and worksheets printed (from LON-CAPA) for class today - taken to HHS Computer Lab 204 to do so. (3rd and 4th hour students will receive printed copies in class.)

(5) Began reading first Eats, Shoots and Leaves excerpt together in class.

(6) Completion of reading and English grammar practice worksheets due Fri., Oct.15th
