Course description

This class is open to all students who have completed ninth grade English. Major areas of emphasis include writing, speaking, listening, and reading. These are practiced in association with American literature and humanities. The course covers a wide time span in our literature. During the first semester, students will study literature from Colonial America to the 1920’s, and the second semester will run as close to the present time as possible.
