 Welcome to Biology class!

Throughout the year we will be doing a variety of projects and assignment using the Internet and computers.  This website will be a tool for you to use to aid in the completion of your work.

For unit assessments it is always a great idea to re-read the chapter, review your notes, labs, homework, and objectives.  It is also an excellent idea to visit the text-book's website and do the practive questions.  Just visit the desired chapter and do the review.  Good luck and remember that tests and quizzes are worth 40% or your semester grade.

 A bit about your teacher:

Hello,

My name is Mrs. Putra and this is my 6th year teaching high school science.  I attended Central Michigan University to study Biology and physical sciences. I have also received my Master's Degree from Marygrove College.  I started working here at HHS in the fall of '04.  I've taught a variety of classes including Biology, Earth Science, Anatomy, and Applied Physics.

Besides loving to teach, I also enjoy being with my family, attending Tiger games, scrapbooking, reading, traveling and being outdoors.
