Formal Essay Rules/Format

• 1” margins on all sides (L-R, top-bottom)
• typed using 12 point font (no bigger or smaller –even for the title!)
• Text style must be:  Times New Roman – no other options, please
• Do not use bold or underline style typing
• Use Italics appropriately

              This is an example of how a proper essay should look.  Notice that I have no bold type or quotation marks around my title.  Also notice that I have a creative and original title that is not the title of assignment itself. 

              I know that I do not have a transition sentence, but I am doing this to show the class how to make a new paragraph look like a new paragraph.
