Board Officer Elections
Board Officer Elections
There are four board positions on the HHS PAC: President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. Board member elections are held during the last membership meeting of the school year, typically in May.
The nominating chairperson will accept nominations for Board positions commencing with the April general membership meeting. Permission from the nominee must be obtained prior to their name being placed on the ballot as a candidate. Elections take place at the May general membership meeting.
A board member shall not be eligible to serve for more than two consecutive years in the same position unless there is no other candidate to fill the vacancy. Board positions may be shared by two individuals, at which time they shall act in a partnership capacity to complete and fulfill the objective of the position.
For more clarification, a copy of the bylaws may be requested.
