Need some help? Check out the key above or read the following
page from the Physics Tutorial at the Physics Classroom website. Need
even more help? At the top of the Physics Tutorial page there are lots
of links to earlier lessons on Projectile Motion.

Week #2
Week #2
Download and Install Graphical Analysis
- Go to Vernier Graphical Analysis 4
- Download the appropriate Graphical Analysis 4 for your particular device.
- Install Graphical Analysis 4
- Use Data Analysis with Graphical Analysis for help. This is the document you have used all year in class when graphing.

Week #3
Week #3
- Complete the Circular Motion IVV.
- This one is very important as it has some wonderful demos in the videos that I cannot reproduce even if we were in our classroom. Do not skip the video parts!
- No need to send the completion page at this point, just do it!
- Watch the Central Force Post-Lab.
- In this video I will summarize the results you hopefully got from the simulation and then I will show you how to combine the three relationships in the lab into one math model that relates the force, the mass, the speed, and the radius of an object moving in a circle at a constant speed.

- Watch Uniform Circular Motion
- Put his one on the big screen as I theoretically prove the results of the last lab! This proof uses all sorts of physics, vector algebra, scalar algebra, and even a little pre-calculus idea. Fun!
Week #4
Week #4
- Watch Centripetal Force & Centripetal Acceleration
- Now that we have both experimentally and theoretically constructed the math models for the force required and the resulting acceleration of an object moving in Uniform Circular Motion, in this video we will determine the directions of that force and the resulting acceleration.
- Lots of good demos and movie clips.

Answer all questions correctly. See the key for help.
Week #5
Week #5
-
Watch video Water in Can and Examples
- This video begins with a demo of me whirling a bucket of water in a vertical circle. Then we examine the physics behind the motion.

Week #6
-
Watch video Driving in Circles
- All about driving in horizontal circles at constant speed and even a little about driving on banked roads!
