Standardized Testing

Hartland High School administers State of Michigan examinations. All required assessments take place at Hartland High School during the school day. The State of Michigan mandates these assessments, and sets the testing dates. Current students in grades 9-11 as well as required 12th graders participate in state testing in April. There is no registration or cost associated with required state testing.

Hartland High School also offers the OPTIONAL PSAT/NMSQT for juniors. This optional test typically takes place at Hartland High School on a Saturday in October and requires pre-registration as well as a participation fee.
